For two years, I have been doing everything in my power that I know how to do, to get my site that sells homemade fudge to show up on the search engine results. I think that being located on a page that is in the hundreds is a prerequisite to never making a sale. I decided to turn it over to the big dogs that know what to do.

I contacted Danny DeMichele and asked for one of their complimentary things that are advertised on their site. I wanted to see if they were going to do anything different than what I had done already. After receiving the plan, I saw that pretty much everything that Danny DeMichele would be doing, are things that I have never even heard of. It made me happy to see that there were things that could be done and I was on board to have them be put in place.

In just six months time, I saw my site go from the hundreds, to a page that did not even have a three digit figure. I was so happy; I started to endorse hiring Danny DeMichele to every small business site owner that I knew. I believe that I probably got him about ten to fifteen more jobs, since I saw that he really can do as he promises. He turns the sites around and makes them easier to find on the search engines which is the key to sales, besides having a good product to sell which I have of course.

The last time that I had to pay to have a repair man come and fix the server, I could not believe the bill. I watched him fix it and I could have done it if I had known it was so easy. I had taken some computer classes in school and had to learn the ins and outs of servers to pass it. I just was not sure if all brands were the same or not.

The next time that the server has problems, I am fixing it myself. The used sun hardware store is likely to have any parts that I might need and it will save a ton of labor costs. My partner is all for the idea, as long as I do not mess it up. I did not think that I could do it before but now after seeing the repair man fix it, I feel confident enough to do it.

I have already called the used sun equipment store to make sure that they have a big stock of parts for this particular server and they have assured me that they do. I am not going to worry about if the server goes down next time; I am just going to be ready to fix it for less money than before.

The interior painters asked me if I wanted to paint the trim a different color than the walls, since my husband did not tell them any differently. I told them that I did, but was not sure at this time. They left a couple of color wheels with me to look over. I called the interior painters in the morning, before they were set to arrive back at my house and told them the name of the color that I had chosen for the trim.

The interior painting company representative called me back, to let me know, the color that I had chosen was out of stock. I went back to the color wheels to find a different yet similar color and knew that whatever I chose, better be in stock or I was going to be very frustrated.

The next color that I picked out was in stock according to the lady who answered the phone and the interior painters would bring it with them so that I could see if it was exactly what I wanted, by putting a little on the trim. After they put it on the trim, I knew that it was a perfect color to go with the color that I had chosen for the walls.

When my interior decorator suggested I put in some vinyl garden windows in the back of the house, I had no idea what she was talking about. I called a local window contractor to ask him what they were. He told me that he would do one better than that, he would show me. He drove over to my house with a sample, and some before and after pictures of homes that had put them in.

After seeing the vinyl garden windows, I hired the window contractor to put four different ones in, at the back of the house. I could not believe that I had never seen one before this. Me, the person with the biggest green thumb in this state, knows about them now though and will be growing herbs year round.

The old vinyl casement windows that were in the spots where the new windows are going were recycled and put in the greenhouse I am building in the backyard. Since the vinyl casement windows were only four years old, I could not see just throwing them away. I am a firm believer in recycling.

Since putting in the vinyl garden windows, my plants seem to be growing much better than they were before. The herb garden that I started in the kitchen window is so convenient when I am cooking.

I just got back from picking out my new windows at the Colorado window company showroom. You can look at every style they offer and then there is a computer program that allows you to see that style of window in your home. It was a lot of fun, until I had to pay, but every cent will be worth it this winter. I have always had to put plastic on my windows and use space heaters because we had such old windows. This year will be different when the Colorado window company gets all my new windows in.

I had a roofing company put a new roof on about six months ago and I think that it is also going to help out with my heating and cooling bills. I have always heard that heat rises, and if it was going right out the roof then I was just throwing away money every time I turned on the furnace.

All in all, my house will be more energy efficient than it has ever been in the past. I am looking for a thirty to forty percent savings over last year’s winter heating bills and that will make a big difference in my pocketbook.

I am wondering if my employees realize how much money I spend on office supplies every month. I have recently noticed lots of waste near the copy machine. It seems that someone accidentally copied five hundred pieces of literature upside down on our letter head. I would love to find out who did it, but since our copy machines do not have the technology to track each person, I will just have to watch and see if anyone talks about doing it.

I called the office supply company that I use and told them that they are only to accept orders that come directly from me and that absolutely no one else. I know that sometimes we will run out of paper, or pens or paperclips and one of my employees will call and order them with our office supply company and that was fine before but now that I see they take advantage of it, I will have to stop it.

In this economy, everyone needs to be tightening their belts and I am starting with tightening my office supply room belt. I will authorize every purchase until I think they will respect me enough to not waste anything anymore.

So many people today in my opinion do not take life as fun as it should be, they are so uptight over this and over that. I like to let loose once in a while and wear some funny t shirts to express how I am feeling and to show others that I am just enjoying life.

I do not like folks who frown on having fun and who are all serious all the time. I think it makes you grow old fast because they have more stress and never let their hair down as I like to say. For me, funny t shirts are a great source of fun and outlet of feelings and emotions.

I can sport funny shirts around the town and they tell a story without me actually having to say anything at all which is a good thing. So many people do not enjoy life to the extent that funny shirts would allow them to.

I like to wear funny shirts, buy gag gifts, go to parties, and just laugh and have fun. Sure I work hard for a living just like the next guy but if you do not have fun you will drive yourself to an early grave and life is too short not to have a little fun once in awhile.

My husband and I decided that the best life insurance for us right now, is term life insurance. We cannot afford much but thought that if we could just make sure that we are covered until our oldest graduates from college, then we can look at additional options after that. I was told that term life insurance is the cheapest kind that you can get and I knew that it would be the choice for us.

My parents said that they had term life insurance for years, when they were younger. They knew that they had to make sure that if something happened, us kids would be taken care of. When we all grew up and moved out, they switched to no medical exam life insurance. This way, they are covered for the rest of their lives but the amounts are not as high since there is only just the two of them now.

I think that when my husband and I get older, we will also switch to no medical exam life insurance, and have just enough coverage to pay off our funeral expenses and any outstanding debt that we may have at that time. I am going to have to discuss all of this with my husband, but for now we will stick with the term life insurance.

When my sister sent me some funny t shirts for my birthday, I called to thank her and ask her where she had found them. I had never thought that she would ever pick out something so cool for me, but she did. She told me that she knows what college kids wear and thought that I would like to have a couple of funny shirts to take with me in the fall when I go away to school.

I did not wear any of my funny t shirts in front of my parents since two of them had to do with drinking and they would not have liked them very much. I knew that I could just pack them away until it was time to leave and then put them with everything else that I was taking with me.

When I got to school that fall, I pulled out my funny shirts that my sister got me and wore them to a party that was at a local frat house. Everyone kept asking me where I had gotten it and since my sister had told me the name of the website, I just kept passing it on. Later that month, I saw two other guys wearing the same t shirt that I had, I am not sure if they got it after me, or if it was just a coincidence.

I awoke to a roofing company next door tearing off all of the shingles. They started before six in the morning and apparently did not care about the fact that most of the neighborhood was still sleeping. I took the name and number of the roofing company and wrote it down on a piece of paper so that if they did anything else that stupid, I would call and complain to them and the police.

I know that when my son used to work for a different roofing company they never started any jobs prior to eight in the morning because they did not want to cause the neighbors to not like them, and in turn not be willing to hire them if they needed roof work.

Somehow, there seems to be a siding company also at the house, but they are not as loud as the roofers. I wish that my neighbors would have given me some kind of warning that they were going to have all of this work done, and then we would have been at least aware of what was going to happen this morning. I would have done that for them. The neighbors are going to get a piece of my mind when I see them.
