Rain is something I welcome with open arms. When I was a few years younger, I often bathe in the rain and enjoy water fights with my siblings. Those were the good old days and even though I want to do it again, my inner instincts told me that it is not a good idea. As I watch the rain on our window, I noticed that the awnings are very effective against the rain as well. The windows are unaffected by the rain and you can see everything that is happening outside.

When my mom decided to purchase retractable awnings, my dad and I helped with the installation. It was not that hard to install awnings and anyone can do it with the right tools in hand. My dad and I were both proud of our accomplishments and enjoyed the reward that my mom gave us afterwards. As I looked back into those memories I can’t help but smile. There are things that never change even as time goes by and the awnings we installed that day are still kept in good condition. I wondered if it will last for a few more years. I hope it does, it will be such a shame to install new ones to replace the old. That is of course, my opinion.
