I am hoping that the four used iseries servers that the guy next door was going to sell are not gone. I had to call my dad to borrow the money to get them. I had asked the guy to hold them for me, but he said that the first person to come up with the cash could have them. My dad had to wire me the money and it took a little time for the whole transaction to take place.

I had purchased a used bladecenter from him before and it was top quality. I think that he gets them for next to nothing because they are not working and then refurbishes them and resells them for a good price. I resold the used bladecenter on an auction site and made double the money that I had paid for it.

When he called and told me that he had the four used iseries servers and what he wanted for them, I just knew that I had to get them and resell them for lots of money. I was running low on funds though, so that is why I called my dad and explained the situation and how much I could make on the resell of these things. He agreed to loan me the money, but I just had to have faith that the dude would not sell them before I got back with the cash.
